In other food news, we had some major announcements this past week. Rare Co will be closing its doors after six seasons on the island. Slice of Heaven Pizza has also been forced from their current location and is in the process of looking for a new home. And one of LBI’s hottest new restaurants, Isola, has already been listed for sale after just two seasons. What’s Going On In Real Estate
We surprisingly gained inventory this week with 9 new listings — likely the largest single week of new listings we’ll see for the remainder of the year.
The sub-$2M market continues to dominate. 9 of the 14 homes that have gone under contract this month fall under $2M — including 1100 N Bay Ave in Shelter Harbor, which listed this past Thursday and was under contract by Sunday.
If you’re under $2M, listing now still has some advantages. Homes above that range require more strategy, and many sellers will benefit from targeting 2026.
