What’s Going On In Real Estate
On the real estate side, this was a quieter week — only 2 homes went under contract. Historically, November averages 5–6 homes going under contract per week.
November and December are typically the slowest new-listing months of the year. Even though it's slower, homes do continue to come on. Last year, from November 1–December 31, we still saw 53 new listings across LBI.
The highlight this week: 5 new homes under $1.5M hit the market — finally giving entry-level buyers fresh inventory to review.
Because the market is less crowded right now, serious buyers have a unique window — fewer competing offers and more negotiating leverage. If securing something before next summer is the plan, staying engaged through the holidays can be key.
