Local Summer is officially underway, as summer locals have now returned home and the island settles into its quieter, more relaxed season. This is one of the best times of year to enjoy LBI — with open beaches, easier dining reservations, and that special hometown feel.
On the real estate side, fall inventory is still piling up. We’ve now reached 134 active listings, our highest level since May. And if past trends are any indicator, we’ll continue to see this number increase over the coming weeks. So if there’s nothing in the current inventory that catches your eye, be sure to keep a close watch over the next four weeks — more opportunities are likely on the way.
Of course, fall also means one thing: football season has kicked off. One of my favorite spots to catch a game is the Shell Tiki Bar, where they’ve got the Sunday Ticket and plenty of TVs so you can likely watch your favorite team. The Shell is open until October 19th, so if you’re looking to watch football with some sun, fresh air, and ocean breeze — make sure to get here soon.
