Hi, I’m Madison Hawkins, the founder of Gone Coastal!
Long Beach Island has always been my home away from home. My grandparents’ house on LBI was where I spent every summer, falling in love with the beach, the laid-back lifestyle, and the small businesses that make the island so special. That love never faded, and I knew I wanted to be part of the local business community that I had admired for so long.
In November 2023, Gone Coastal was born from my passion for the beach and the feeling of pure relaxation it brings. I wanted to create loungewear that captures that same sense of peace—like the warmth of the sun on your skin and the sand between your toes. Each design is made by me and inspired by the coastal beauty that shaped my happiest memories.
In the summer of 2024, I launched my first collection and had the incredible opportunity to host pop-ups at some of my favorite boutiques on the island. Seeing people embrace my designs and wear them around LBI was an unforgettable experience. Gone Coastal is more than just clothing—it’s a piece of the beach you can take with you wherever you go.
I am excited to keep the dream going by releasing our new collection in May 2025! This collection will be called ‘Summer Lovin’ and is inspired by the feeling of a summer romance!
